- Accumulator
- A bet that combines multiple selections into one wager, where all selections must win for the bet to pay out.
- Asian Handicap
- A handicap given to a team in a match to level the playing field, often with whole or half goals, eliminating the draw option.
- Bankroll
- The total amount of money set aside by a bettor for placing bets.
- Bonus
- An extra amount of money or free bet offered by a bookmaker, often as an incentive to sign up or deposit.
- Cash Out
- A feature that allows you to settle a bet before the event ends, either securing a profit or minimizing a loss.
- Decimal Odds
- A way of expressing odds as a single number, including the stake, where the total return is the odds multiplied by the stake.
- Draw No Bet
- A market where you bet on a team to win, and if the match ends in a draw, your stake is refunded.
- Expected Value
- A measure of the average amount you can expect to win or lose per bet, based on the probability and odds.
- Fractional Odds
- A way of expressing odds as a fraction, showing the profit relative to the stake, common in the UK.
- Free Bet
- A promotional offer where a bookmaker gives you a bet at no cost, usually with certain conditions attached.
- Goal Line
- A market where you bet on whether the total number of goals in a match will be over or under a specified line.
- Handicap
- A virtual advantage or disadvantage given to a team to balance the match, affecting the final outcome for betting purposes.
- Implied Probability
- The chance of an outcome happening as suggested by the odds, calculated by dividing 1 by the decimal odds.
- In-Play Betting
- Placing bets on a match while it is ongoing, with odds that update as the action unfolds.
- Juice
- The commission or fee that a bookmaker charges on a bet, often built into the odds, also called vigorish.
- KYC

- Odds Boost
- A promotion that increases the odds on a specific market, offering a higher potential payout.

- A market where you bet on whether the total number of goals (or other stats) will be above or below a set number.
- Responsible Gambling
- Practices and tools designed to help individuals gamble safely, such as setting deposit limits and self-exclusion options.
- Self-Exclusion
- A formal process where a bettor requests to be barred from betting for a set period, helping to prevent gambling-related harm.
- Single Bet
- A straightforward bet placed on a single selection, where you win if that selection wins.
- Stake
- The amount of money you place on a bet.
- Value Bet
- A bet where the odds offered are higher than the true probability of the outcome, suggesting a positive expected return.
